Vibratory feeders

These feeders are intended for applications where material dosing is required. Capacity regulation is controlled from 0 to 100% through a control box. They can be activated dozens of times per hour if necessary.

Electrical controls

The two electrical diagrams on the side show the set of components necessary for the regulation of the voltage supplied to the electromagnet of the VIMAG vibrator.

The feeding current (60Hz/ 50Hz) induces the electromagnet to 120 pulses per second because the current reaches two maximums in each cycle. As 120 pulses does not allow enough amplitude to transport materials through the chute, a diode or thyristor commanded by an integrated electronic circuit is installed (see schematics) that eliminates one of the maximums in each cycle, allowing the electromagnet to pulse at 60Hz. This frequency allows a good use of the amplitude.

There are two types of control, SX and SXD. The first allows the regulation in one stage only. The SXD has two stages, one commanded by switch 11, and the trough consequently has two hourly capacities (useful for feeding scales).

The TX series is similar to the SX, with only a built-in voltage regulator. This avoids variations in hourly capacity due to a change in the external power supply network. The TX series allows connection to PLC's for the variation dictated by other systems.

Next to it are the dimensions of the different control boxes.
