Vibratory feeders

These feeders are intended for applications where material dosing is required. Capacity regulation is controlled from 0 to 100% through a control box. They can be activated dozens of times per hour if necessary.

Applications

Electromagnetically driven vibrating chutes ELMAVI are mainly used for unloading bulk materials from silos and bins, as well as for conveying or metering.

The rectangular, trapezoidal, or semicircular contour trough undergoes linear vibrations under a small angle of inclination. These vibrations activate the product to be transported by micro jumps, producing a smooth movement that does not cause excessive abrasion of the chute.

The trough oscillation (double amplitude) is on the order of 1.2 to 1.6mm and the corresponding transport velocity varies from 12 to 20cm/s.

The electromagnetic vibratory feeder channel presents a particular advantage in comparison with other types of feeder channels, because its conveying speed can be varied by varying the electrical voltage supplied, through a rheostat or transistorized electronic set.

All bulk materials, from the bulkiest to those with powder consistency and granulation are transportable. Materials that tend to runny (cement) can present problems, and therefore need further examination by the manufacturer.

Below we have schematized three application examples: feeding a belt, a sieve, and a scale.
